Jennifer Beattie

Playgroup Manager

I have been an Early Years Practitioner for over 12 years now with 6 years of management experience. In 2019 I graduated from the University of Dundee with a bachelor’s degree with distinction in Childhood studies I am very passionate about the early years and am already thinking about what to do next! I have been with Inverbrothock Playgroup since 2018 and I love our playgroup ethos, the family feel and support network it has created. When I am not working, I have a husband, 3 boys and a pug to keep me very busy and entertained.

Support Worker

I joined the Playgroup team in December 2020. I completed my level 5 certificate in Early Education and Childcare at college and hope to become an Early Years Practitioner in the future. I think the best way to learn is on the job and to be more hands on with children's development, which in turn helps develop my skills and abilities. I have an 12 year old daughter and love spending time with family and friends. In my spare time I love being creative, baking and painting - anything I can be hands on with!

Support Worker

I have worked in the early education and childcare sector for 5 years now which has even taken me to Australia where I was an AuPair for a year. I've only recently joined the team here at Inverbrothock Playgroup, but I am enjoying each day with the amazing children and staff, who challenge my abilities and strengths daily. When out of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family doing activities such as paddle boarding and cycling.
